Stupid cube

Today i proofed to myself that i have no patience what so ever. Tried doing just one side of the rubik cube for about 30 minutes only and 5 times i had to refrain from throwing it against the wall. It was so freaking frustrating. I felt like breaking it all up into little pieces. Other examples of my lack of patience, one night when bit comet was being a bitch, i swore that if my computer was a real person, i would have choked it to death. The other examples can be explained by my friends, mainly in my class during KH projects. AHHHH STUPID LITTLE CUBE!!!!!

Always remembered

Sorry didn't post about this earlier. To Wong Choong Hann, Lee Wan Wah, and Choong Tan Fook, you 3 will always be remembered in my heart. Growing up as a kid, my dad always was a fan of badminton. Because of that, i couldn't help but watch along. Watching the everlasting determination of Choong Hann and the pure attacking flare of Tan Fook and Wan Wah mesmerized me and gave birth to my love for the game. I have since followed badminton closely watching new stars rise. But these veterans will never leave the minds of all badminton fans. They now have retired and only can give their support for the young players that will take their place. Never the less, i proudly claim these 3 players irreplaceable in terms of fighting spirit and class. May you enjoy the rest of you life.......

New hottie

Today my cousins came over my house so they wanted to watch Suite Life Of Zack And Cody. So i watched with them and guess what i saw. There was this character named Dakota which was so pretty. After that i ran upstairs to check her name out. Her name is Kelsey Chow and i found out she acted in One Tree Hill as Gigi!! She looked so different. Life. What exactly is life? Can one truly explain the meaning of the word? Is it really as complex as we make it out to be or merely as simple as living or dying? Have any of us really, deeply wondered about our insignificance in this universe?

Life........A quote from Shakespeare in his poem Life's Brief Candle " It is a tale told by an idiot, signifying nothing," Is life really that worthless? When you think about a planet that is millions of light years away, they don't even know we exist. But there is another way to view life.

Life can be viewed as a gift from God. We were all put on earth for a reason. Living life to the fullest and keeping an open mind can bring unimaginable prizes. As the great Theodore Roosevelt once said " The greatest prize that life can offer is the chance to work hard at work worth doing,"

What can we really make of life? A scientist will explain evolution and making of mankind. But why? Why does it happen? Why do we exist? We all try to find a purpose in life. We try to find what is the point of living.

The simple truth is that life is up to us. We create our own image of life. If you agree with Shakespeare, saying that all is meaningless, then that is your life. A simple tale waiting for its end.

But life can be just as great as Roosevelt says, but only if you let it be. I myself am trying to figure out life. But aren't we all? Its an epic journey that we get to experience. A quest we were offered when born into this world. We have a great power in all of us, and that's the power to live.

Tv mania

With the new Amazing Race Asia, there is a whole group of shows coming with new seasons. One of them is One Tree Hill which i am downloading right now. Another is the much awaited Heroes coming out on the 22nd. And on that very same day, the new season of How I Met Your Mother is also coming out. So i am currently going to go crazy. Although, there is the exams coming out.

But which is better? For an appetizer, we enjoy teams from around Asia take on the world while challenging themselves both mentally and physically while putting their relationship on the line.For the main meal, watching a group of hilarious yet dramatic adults who try to take on life. Served with a heaping scoop of everyday people with extra ordinary powers trying to fully understand themselves. And for dessert, we have a timeless tale told by a man about his quest to find true love. OR.................... Sitting at the table starring at a book and not getting any thing out of it.

Season 3

Today watched the opening episode of Amazing Race Asia 3. Missed the beggining because was at swimming. Managed to watched 1 detour then followed by the race to the 1st pit stop. We had 2 Malasian teams here. One of them, Henry and Bernie came in 3rd. Yay. Then the other team, Ida and Tania came in 5th. Yay again.

Ok, now every Amazing Race, i try to pick a favorite. Of course i will support Malaysia team, but if they fail, i will choose another team. Usually i will choose either a very funny team or a team of two hot girls haha. Last season was Marc and Rovilson since they were so funny. I also chose Paula and Natasha because they were two beautiful Thai girls. This season, i chose Natalie and Pailin who once again are Thai. Thai girls are hot =). And also another team which just made me laugh was Visa and Oliver. They are so stupid. They fought and kept cursing even after they came in 1st.

Anyway, hope this season will be good. Last season rocked!

Strokemaker

Yay, i finally got my new Strokemaker Paddles. Allen bought it from US. Apparently it can only be obtained there. It's made of a special flexible material so its wide but its also super light. There are also holes there to get a better feel of the water. These paddles are higly recomended by all coaches and professionals. They cost me RM110. I know the colour is abit weird but that's the way it is. There's blue but the blue ones are the really small ones and the really big ones. The sizes rage from 0,0.5,1,2,3,4,5. Mine is 2.

Ok another topic, i have absoutly fallen in love with Bridge To Terabithia. I've watched it like 5 times already. I also have grown pretty fond of Annasophia Robb. The girl in the movie. She sang a music video for it. And its just so wonderful. Here it is. Isn't she beautiful?

Keep your mind wide open

Just finished watching Bridge To Terabithia. I really enjoyed it. It was a fantastic show. There's just something about fantasy shows that attract me. For example Narnia, Harry Potter. This movie is definitely going into my top 10. It wasn't a typical fantasy show tho. Unlike Harry Potter and Narnia, this show doesn't really have a magical world. It was a world made up by 2 kids. Here's what the movie about.......


Jesse Aarons is a boy from a poor family. They have to grow their own food and he has 2 older sisters and 2 younger sisters. Jesse's life is practically what you would call miserable. He feels his father loves his sisters more than him. He gets bullied in school. And he pretty much doesn't have any friends. Most of the time, Jesse would take out a blank book and start drawing. Now, he is a very talented artist with a great imagination.
Although, his talents aren't appreciated by his father or the kids at school.

Then, one day, a girl name Leslie Burke moved to their school. She also has a miserable life despite being rich. She too got bullied a lot in school and wasn't getting any attention from her parents when they are writing a book. Leslie is a talented writer. She too, like Jesse, has an amazing imagination. They soon befriended each other. One day, they found a river . Above this river, there was a tree with a rope tied to it. They played with the rope going back and forth the river.

Suddenly, Leslie thought that they both needed a place for themselves. A place where there are no bullies and no one but them knows where it is. They then use their imagination and ''make'' the land across the river into Terabithia. A land where they rule as King and Queen. A place where they can do what ever they want. A place that is inhabitant by Mystical creatures. They soon became fond of this made up place and come here everyday after school. As time goes by, Jesse finds out he is starting to fall in love as this is the 1st time either of them had a real friend.

I'm not going to spoil the rest so that all you guys would go watch it. And for those of you who have, i hope you agree with me on how great this movie is. After i watched it, i suddenly remembered that I'm in reality and had to come back to my own life. I wish i had a place to go to when things are down. Great movie! 15/10

Most improtant post!

Remember Michael Phelps? The swimmer. 8 golds. Became the best swimmer ever at the Bejing Olympics. Well, here are some facts about how he motivated himself to glory.

At the 2004 Athens Olympics, Phelps was also aiming for the 8 golds. He only got 6 however. Also one of the competitions, he lost to compatriot Ian Crocker in the 100m butterfly. He lost by a single touch. After that competition, he printed out the picture of that final touch. The one where he lost. And you know what he did? He stuck it up on his wall as a poster. So whenever he felt like slaking off or skipping training, he would go into his room and take a good hard look at that picture. So that it will always remind him to train harder or suffer the consequences.

Another thing, before the Olympics, Australian legend Ian Thorpe said that Phelps can never achieve the 8 gold mark. With that, Phelps stuck a picture of Thorpe up on his wall with that quote in it. Same thing, every time he just wasn't in the mood for swimming, he would remember what Thorpe said and train harder to prove him wrong.

So, there are 3 lessons here,
1. Always take failure as a step to achievement. The most successfully man in the world would be the man that has failed the most. Everybody makes mistakes, but it is how we react to them that will set us apart.

2. Never let someone tell you you're not good enough. Because you really are good. There is no one on earth that is useless. We were all put here for a reason. Everyone is special. Including you.

3. And another thing, always be optimistic. Never let negative thoughts fill your mind. You can view the cup as half empty or half full. As soon as the positive thoughts fill your mind, then you have achieved greatness. You see, our mind is splint into 2 parts, the conscious mind and the sub-conscious mind.

The conscious mind is used for everyday reasons. But the sub-conscious mind is what most people now call the secret. What is this secret you may ask. The secret cannot be explained in this post. Some people will take almost a year to figure it out. But the basic part of it is, thoughts become things.

For example, if you believe you can beat someone, you can. Because your sub-conscious can't tell the difference between reality and fiction. So if you tell it that you are the best, you really are. And do try practicing this. And another thing, when you go off on say a vacation, and you pray that your house won't get robbed, well it will. Because you have already thought of it being robbed. Instead, do the positive thing and tell yourselves that nothing is going to happen. It's completely safe and it's still there. This is also called the law of attraction. If you think positive, you send out positive vibrations and vice-versa. You can might as well have a million bucks in your bank account if you believe it. If you tell your mind that you already are a millionaire, your mind will start working in ways so that you will achieve that.

When Donald Trump was younger, he went bankrupt. But he just simply told himself he was a billionaire. And look where he is now. So now are you guys getting the picture? I tried this out at the competition earlier. While i was waiting for my event, i just visualised my name up on the scoreboard doing a 1.10. And when it was the real thing, i did a 1.10. See the power of you mind? This ''secret'' has thought to be used by the likes of Albert Einstein and Beethoven before. Although this wasn't proven, imagine if it was true.
